My Humus recipe
Ingredients
1 can of chick peas
4 - 5 generous spoonfuls of tahini
1 cup of parsley
1 clove of garlic
1 - 2 teaspoons of coriander or cumin (or both)
1 teaspoon of olive olive
juice of half a lemon
a dash of soya sauce and balsamic vinegar
pepper to taste
Method
Put all the ingredients in the blender
Note
Some tins of chickpeas are pretty salty, so give them a rinse
Also add more liquid to the blender if the recipe is dry, i.e. water
Use salt if you don’t like soya
To add more punch put in a green chilli minus the seeds
Double quantities if you are having a party
Serving suggestions
Put in a bowl and drizzle with oil
Eat with carrots, celery, rice crackers and so forth
